25 Things About Me that a Resume Won’t Include 🙂
- My favorite color is purple
- I have two cats, Gabby and Namaste, both stray kittens, found abandoned

- My favorite non-fiction book is Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda
- My favorite fiction book is The Fountainhead by Ann Rand (with The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo coming in a close 2nd)
- I enjoy jazz music
- I love arugula and kale
- Gossip drives me crazy
- My parents live in Jupiter, Florida
- My favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption
- My favorite football team is the Dallas Cowboys (sorry, I’m from Cleveland, and yes, that makes me a fair weather fan LOL)
- My favorite baseball team is the St. Louis Cardinals, because that’s where my boyfriend is from
- I used to be a huge fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers, but LeBron’s betrayal to his home city changed all of that. I no longer have a favorite basketball team.
Namaste
- Even though I’m a vegan vegetarian, I still love to watch cooking shows, such as Hell’s Kitchen, Master Chef, Chopped and Top Chef. It’s where I get some of my best material and ideas for The Twisted Vegan: Vegan Twists on Carnivore Classics!
- I will usually choose a Sauvignon Blanc when dining out
- My favorite champagne is Veuve Clicquot (preferably their Rose, but I’ll take the Brut any day!). But since I don’t often indulge in $40+ bottles of bubbly, my favorite standby is Freixnet for $8.
- Â I have never traveled to Europe/Asia/Africa, but hope to (see my bucket list under fun)
- I am an early riser, usually up before 5:30AM … I LOVE sunrises and the sound of the birds chirping
- I love the smell of jasmine
- If I had to pick a favorite spice, it would probably be smoked paprika or chipotle pepper
- We grow basil like weeds, but have yet to successfully grow thyme
- It annoys me when people talk on their cell phones in grocery stores and block the aisles. Actually, I don’t really love cell phones, period.

- My top 3 vacations have been The Body Holiday in St. Lucia, Sandals St. Lucia, and A Taste of Health Cruise
- My favorite RV park so far is Seaquest State Park in Washington State.
