“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
~ Barack Obama

Changing my alarm back to 5:30 was delightful. There’s nothing better than waking up on your own, at the crack of dawn. With your cat at your feet, returned from the vets 🙂

Everything felt sort of slow motion this morning. And as I looked through the photos I shot, it was hard to say whether this morning was about the sunrise, or the clouds.

Death is like a mirror in which the true meaning of life is reflected.” ~ Sogyal Rinpoche

~ Rabindranath Tagore, Indian poet

My internet is giving me problems this AM, so I sat longer than I normally might have, to give it some time to clear up (which it hasn’t) …

The clouds, filled with little rain showers, were so much fun to watch. First the sky was a deep red underneath the darkness. Then the sky filled with streaming light behind the clouds, until finally the sun came bursting through. I wasn’t quite expecting it, and it felt so warm … It made me smile and feel very happy and content inside. read more
