Wow, it’s slow going here this morning! The sunrise seemed to take forever, as she took her sweet old time coming up behind the hills of Tortola and through the billowy clouds. I found my mind to be all over the place, trying to make sense of the past few months, and thinking about where I’m heading.
Coming inside, my computer wasn’t co-operating, and was in need of a reboot. That took another half hour, as I sat here patiently waiting for it to clear itself of all my open programs, so she could shut down properly.
It made me chuckle, as I thought: Even us humans need a reboot from time to time!!
Our diets, our homes, our attitudes, our relationships, our general outlook on life.
And while our human reboots may take a little more time, we all have the capacity to very quickly manifest near instantaneous change.
And while I have complete faith in divine timing, I also know that I am a collaborator with the universe. Universe responds to intention. And intention does require some planning, some forethought …..
As I look at the upcoming month, I am grateful for a block of unscheduled time. Late April into May offers a short reprieve from villa rentals, until wedding season begins in June. There are a number of creative projects that have fallen by the wayside as I haven’t had a string of days to allow for the necessary focus. I’ve simply had too much on my plate! Just like my computer desktop!!
Take time today to begin the reboot.
Start a 10 day detox. Do some spring cleaning. Clear out the clutter. Commit to finishing incomplete projects so that you can move on to something new and inspiring (or decide to shelf these projects all together so they stop taking up valuable mental and emotional space!).
As we move into this wonderful period of new beginnings, truly ask yourself: What do I want to re-open after the reboot ??
Begin to create the life of your dreams, your own shining star, amid the vast universe of choices.
