“Some of the best ideas come out of the blue.”
~ Richard Branson, CEO Virgin Atlantic
I love this sunrise. To me, it’s the hand of my logo. It is in humble service, and with shear gratitude, that I have brought you this offering.
Today, we are here to discuss the apex of Hill’s highly acclaimed, and widely recognized philosophy on success. The roadmap to riches in all walks of life.
But before we delve into the final step, which is the esoteric idea of a 6th sense, let’s make a quick summary:
The first 12 steps to Success are:
1) Desire.
The starting point to all achievement. Having a well-defined purpose or passion. An idea.
2) Faith in Our Ability.
Achieved by developing Self-Confidence. A circular reference by following the steps outlined in this book.
3) Auto-Suggestion.
The means through which we impress upon our Subconscious.
4) Specialized Knowledge.
Obtaining knowledge and applying it towards a particular goal, a worthy end.
5) Imagination.
The “receiving” station of our brains. Where creative ideas are formed.
6) Organized Planning.
The method by which we turn ideas into concrete actionable steps. Being a leader. Defeating failure.
7) Decision.
Success comes to those who reach decisions quickly, and change those decisions slowly. Overcoming procrastination.
8) Persistence.
The use of will-power, which is essential in turning desire into reality. An idea without work is just a dream.
9) The Master Mind Group.
The power through which greater ideas may be generated. Two or more people, working in a spirit of harmony, towards a definite end.
10) Charisma, Sexuality & Creativity.
Channeling our sexual energy, or the greatest of all emotional stimulants, towards creative effort.
11) The Subconscious Mind.
The storehouse of all information and thoughts we’ve ever experienced. The gateway to “Infinite Intelligence”. With strong emotion, or “prayer”, we may plant dreams and desires to our subconscious, which will then be answered in the form of an idea on how to obtain the object of our desire (prosperity).
12) The Brain.
A broadcasting and receiving station of thought. Your creative imagination is the “receiving station” of ideas. Your subconscious is the “sending station”. Our desires go to infinite intelligence, and back they come in the form of ideas that our creativity can gasp onto, and run with, in the form of a plan.
And finally ….
13) Our 6th Sense.
First, if you are still here with me, reading this, I’d like to personally congratulate you. Because like me, you must be ready for this. And I’ll be honest, as I read through Hill’s chapter on the 6th Sense, I was filled with a certain level of pride, and admiration. Why am I just now reading this book to it’s conclusion? Because only now do I have the experience and drive necessary so that I can assimilate all this book is offering.
So you too!!! Again, congratulations !!!!!
I realize I’ve lost much of my audience. And I find this truly fascinating, because what I’ve been sharing over the past 2 months is some of the greatest literature, advice, and encouragement of all time!!
I’m going to skip ahead a bit to Hill’s final chapter on overcoming fear. Hill writes: “Some will ask: Why did you write a book about money? Why measure riches in dollars alone?”
Some will believe, and rightly so, that there are other forms of riches more desirable than money.
Hill continues: “Yes, there are riches that cannot be measured in terms of dollars, but there are also millions of people who say: “Give me all the money I need, and I will find everything else I want.” Be honest with yourself. Haven’t you said this on occasion??
“The major reason I wrote this book on how to get money, is that millions of men and women are paralyzed with the fear of poverty.” This all encompassing fear, which is nothing more than a state of mind, kills off everything good in this world. This book was written to defeat this state of mind.
Get one thing straight: You either have prosperity consciousness, or you have poverty and failure consciousness.
“If you want riches, you will refuse to accept any circumstance that leads towards poverty. And I use this word on the broadest of senses: Riches financially, spiritually, mentally and materially.”
So those I lost from the get go, are doomed. So sad !!! Right out of the gate, they heard the topic, and ran. Discussion of wealth is apparently taboo! Yet, never fear – this summary I’ve written of the greatest book ever produced on personal achievement – will forever remain. It will be available to those who’s attention I got, but aren’t yet “ready”.
So again, my friends, congratulations. It is with pure humble gratitude, that I thank you for coming along with me as a leader of this discussion.
I hope it’s stimulated something so deep and so magical inside of you that nothing will stop you.
You are here, reading these words, because you have made up your mind not to accept poverty in any form.
I’m preaching to the choir !! There’s no need to convince you
Through Napoleon Hill, I’ve been given, and I’ve been called to share with you a roadmap. If we neglect to make the start, or if we stop before we arrive, we have no one else to blame but ourselves! The responsibility is ours. You and you alone, me and me alone, set our state of mind.
As for the 13th and final step to success – The 6th Sense – I’ll give a very brief summary. Hill says “It defies description”.
If you are still here reading, I don’t have any convincing to do. You know what your 6th sense is. I know what it is.
“The 6th Sense cannot be described to a person who has not mastered the other principles of this philosophy. Why? Because, such a person has no knowledge and no experience with which the 6th Sense may be compared.”
The 6th sense is a miracle. It is the source of all inspiration. It is the virtually unlimited essence of our creative capacity.
I dearly love that the apex of Hill’s philosophy is so completely esoteric. It cannot be taught. It must be experienced. You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink.
“The starting point of all achievement is desire. The finishing point is the kind of knowledge that leads to understanding – understanding of yourself, understanding of others, understanding of the laws of nature, and the recognition and understanding of happiness.” Full understanding of this comes only through familiarity with, and use of the principle of the 6th sense.
You my friends, have it. Now, are you ready and willing to use it ??
