“We seek peace, knowing that peace is the climate of freedom.”
~ Dwight D. Eisenhower

I had to chuckle. Clearly early this morning the Universe was calling out for peace. As you all know I don’t listen much to CNN, yet I still can’t seem to escape the news that we are considering entering into yet another war. How wonderful, though, that British citizens actually have a house of commons that reflects the desires of their people. If only the US will follow suit.

So another sleepless night here. But I’m feeling energized today, with alot on my plate. I did a bit of research on-line, as I’m hoping still to be able to make periodic posts while I’m away. I definitely won’t have internet access. But I should have G3 phone access for some of the time. So this means I need to get better at posting via iOS ..

And woo-hoo … I just downloaded an app with 55,000 quotes !!! So at least, I can send out a photo of the beautiful countryside that I’ll be visiting, and maybe a quote or two.  We’ll see.

So today will be my last longer post for quite a while. Although I don’t leave until Tuesday, I’m scrambling !!

Tomorrow: iOS photo and quote from my iphone only !!!

To end off today’s post, while searching for quotes on peace, I ran across this beautiful thought by Robert Fulghum …

“Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon. A happiness weapon. A beauty bomb. And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one. It would explode high in the air – explode softly – and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air. Floating down to earth – boxes of Crayolas. And we wouldn’t go cheap, either – not little boxes of eight. Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in. With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest. And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination.”

I’ll be back again in full force come mid-October. Until then, I hope you continue to enjoy my simple posts, sharing the beauty of this planet and tiny words of quoting wisdom … Peace, Love & Happiness, and TGIF
