“It’s easy for me. If I find I have to work at it, I’ve got the wrong job. What I’m doing is channeling.”
~ Morgan Freeman (about his role as an actor)

Love the light rain shower this morning, as I shared the sunrise with one of my young villa guests. And so goes life. As I was talking about yesterday, sometimes when things appear the cloudiest, it’s a sign that it’s time to move on.

How does this relate to the Morgan Freeman quote you may wonder. Some days when I write, I may have a particular theme in mind. Like today, I’m being directed to follow up on what I wrote about yesterday. But until I sit, and until my fingers hit the keyboard, I have no idea what will come about. And yesterday in particular. I’m not sure why I chose the subject. In a very real sense, I was channeling. And opening up to that amazing energy, I was being directed to help someone(s). I never know who, or what. And for a friend who wrote to me earlier this week on a very serious and painful note, I woke up in the middle of the night with so much streaming thought, I had to grab a pen and paper. I hope I’ll be able to decipher it later today to forward to you LOL ….

If there is any advice I can offer to those feeling unhappy and stuck, it would be to begin working with an intuit, and find your yoga teacher.

To quote RevivingIntuition.com: “Most people say they didn’t really understand channeling or energy work until they experienced it. If you want to know more about your direction or purpose, what your personal guides want you to know, or are seeking to know more about your potential, an Energy Work and Channeling Workshop is great place to start.”

After reviewing my life, and completely admitting that I haven’t been in full control of it (step one), I opened up to the universe, and asked for guidance (step two). This is the point I wish to drive home. You can’t sit and wait. It will take action.

My meditation teacher and intuitive guide was hugely instrumental in helping me to shift my energetic direction. I have not worked with her via phone, but I fully trust that she can be of aid to help you see your path more clearly. You may feel funny about doing so, but please, give her a call … You don’t have to tell anyone. I didn’t .

In regards to yoga, I’ve talked about it before, but there are four different kinds – the spiritual practice, not the hatha physical practice – each geared to different types of personalities. I found a beautiful explanation at ChristiansPracticingYoga.com.

http://christianspracticingyoga.com/wp/yoga-our-perspective/addressing-the-fears-yoga-and-christianity/

The four types are this … (and I practice Raja Yoga) …
1. Karma yoga for the worker,
2. Bhakti yoga for the emotional,
3. Raja yoga for the mystical,
4. and Jnana yoga for the rational.

There are also other proven ways via yoga to shift energy (teachers of my yoga teacher):

Phoenix Rising Therapy:

Watsu Water Therapy:

My friend Bridgette Kossor is also a very gifted Reikki Master and does channeling work via phone:

And then for those on the more traditional path, there is always church …. 🙂

Anyone want to add to the list of resources, please feel free to post below … Happy Hump Day ❤

BTW, Morgan Freeman – obviously a highly spiritual individual – hosts a really cool show on Discovery Channel called “Through the Wormhole” … If you are reading this, I know you’ll enjoy it:
