I loved watching the sunlight reflect off the multiple layers of clouds this morning. And wow, has my mind been on a journey this morning … !!
I was thinking about the universal consciousness, as apparently, I was very tied into it yesterday. My feeling of dismay for the world and our youth was echoed by many as I made my journey across social media. It was expressed both by friends and in photos shared by some of the more popular pages. So what is going on? Is it darkest, just before the dawn ??
As our youth are in the process of heading back to school, I do believe that many are contemplating the change that is necessary for the evolution of our society. It’s interesting that the first thing I saw as I arrived here again today on Facebook was a post by Allen West, bringing light to another senseless murder, and calling for an end to the violence that the young black culture seems to be propagating. Even here on our tiny island of 50,000 people, it is estimated that there is a gang membership approaching 2,500. I am drawn to think back to a few months ago, when Spencer was verbally assaulted by a young black boy … told in whispers from a bathroom stall that he hated white people. And that the parents basically called Spencer a liar when confronted with their child’s repulsive behavior.
So where did my meditation lead me …. As I contemplate the universal consciousness, I hold great hope that all of us who are reading this are tied into the positive energy and light of the yin and the yang that makes up our world.
Dr. Wayne Dyer writes “There is a universal intelligence that we call God or Soul or Spirit or Consciousness, and it is everywhere and in all things.” And Eckhart Tolle: “But there’s a shift happening in humanity, a shift in consciousness, happening now because it has to happen now.”
As I contemplated that which is deathless, timeless, the nature of our very being, I was lead to many new wonderful resources …
To Quote OmTimes.com: “The youth all over the world are ready for this shift of consciousness. They are seeking and searching. Hence, it is the right time for all conscious beings to bring the Wisdom from the world of science and spirituality within the reach of the younger generation. Then they can become co-creators in the emergence of the New World, where hate and violence will dissolve, competitiveness will give place to the complementary force, the cohesive growth of humanity as a family. We can realize a world where each person will have enough to be happy, a world where the widening, painful gap between the rich and poor will be bridged, a world where no child will go to bed unfed, and a world where the environment will be protected and peace will permeate the air in the space all around us.”
Tat twam asi – “You are That”. That immanent one (God), is the same that is in the human soul. The Supreme Soul (who is one), resides within all his creations (as many). Herein lies the true source of morality; the unifying principle that connects us all; that we are all children of one Supreme God, and by hurting another, we are in reality hurting not only God but ourselves.

I am being called to join a woman’s network. We will meet a week from today, with no particular agenda. Yet, I feel my work getting ready to take root and blossom, the radiant channel is flowing ….
